Joshi happy to have made ‘positive contribution’

Bangladesh’s newly appointed spin consultant Sunil Joshi is happy to have made a positive contribution during the first Test against Australia.
The left-armer’s player-of-the match performance had allowed India to defeat the Tigers in their debut Test against India in 2000.
“The victory in the year 2000 was a historic occasion and now this one too is. I am happy to have made a positive contribution,” Joshi told The Times of India.
Joshi said that he was happy to have made a ‘positive contribution’ and pointed out that there was one particular delivery that created trouble for the Australia batsmen.
“There is one delivery that the Australians are struggling to pick up since the India series.
"I won’t say which one it is till the series ends because I don’t want the Aussies to come up with a counter-plan but I picked up on it when they were playing India. I have told the Bangladesh bowlers to keep bowling that delivery and it’s working,” he said.
Talking about Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan he said: “there is absolutely no doubt about the fact that he is a leader of the bowling unit.”
