Some peace and quiet for wildlife at Lawachara
Lawachara National Park, abuzz with people all year round, is now a paradise for wild animals. Rare species of wild boar, deer, monkeys, and different species of birds can be seen in this habitat consisting of 169 species of plants and 276 species of animals.

Nearly 4000 Ctg City Council cleaners at coronavirus risk
Nearly 4,000 cleaners under the employment of the Chattogram City Council are working with the risk of contracting coronavirus looming over their hands. The Chattogram City Council informed The Daily Star that almost 10 tonnes of waste from the clinics and hospitals in the city are sifted through by these workers without any protection.
