Today, Chanchal Chowdhury has finally chosen to voice his concerns on the escalating violence across the country.

Prominent Indian director Srijit Mukherji has directed the biopic celebrating the centenary of the iconic filmmaker Mrinal Sen, featuring Bangladeshi actor Chanchal Chowdhury in the lead role.

Two distinguished actors hailing from the two Bengals—one from Bangladesh and the other from India—are making waves in the Bengali film industry. The talents in question are Chanchal Chowdhury and Parambrata Chattopadhyay. Both celebrated for their exceptional acting prowess, recently crossed each other’s paths. 

The artistes were residing at the Hyatt Regency Hotel for the 44th edition of the conference, which took place from July 4 to 6. Indian artistes present included Swastika Mukherjee, Parambrata Chattopadhyay, Srabanti Chattopadhyay, Sohini Sarkar, Sauraseni Maitra, Ambarish Bhattacharya, Arjun Chakrabarty, Anirban Bhattacharya, Tanushree Chakraborty, Kaushik Ganguly, Ujaan Ganguly, Sudeshna Roy, Arindam Sil, and the members of the bands Fossils and Somlata and The Aces.

Since its release in Bangladesh, the Shakib Khan starrer film “Toofan” is now creating quite a stir in West Bengal. The excitement was palpable at Thursday night's press conference, where it became evident that the people of West Bengal are keenly interested in the blockbuster. 

After winning hearts with his superb performance in “Toofan,” Chanchal Chowdhury is once again set to impress fans in theatres with his first Indian film, “Padatik”, directed by Srijit Mukherji.

The production house also shared that "Toofan” will be running in 22 theatres in America this week. However, the number of theatres will exceed 50 by July 12.

Today, the much awaited Shakib Khan starrer ‘’Toofan” finally arrived in cinemas. 123 halls are screening the Raihan Rafi directorial project.

To promote the film, Kolkata star Mimi Chakraborty arrived in Dhaka early yesterday, having flown in from Kolkata the same afternoon. She attended a press conference held at a five-star hotel in the capital on Wednesday evening.

Shakib Khan's latest film, "Toofan”, is set to premiere on Eid-ul-Azha, and advance ticket sales began 10 days prior to the release. Remarkably, 40 percent of tickets for the initial days have already been sold.

Chanchal Chowdhury shared this information on his social handle, saying that the song titled “Tu Zinda Hain” will be revealed tomorrow at 10am as part of a surprise promotional campaign before the film’s release.

Srijit shared the good news on social media, congratulating the team on this achievement. He also personally shared the news with Chanchal Chowdhury.
