An investigation committee has found the allegation of substituting iron rods for bamboo sticks in the construction of a government-funded biological research centre in Chuadanga to be true.

The administration in Chuadanga’s Damurhuda Upazila says it found to be true the allegation that bamboo sticks were being used as alternative of iron rod in the construction of a government-funded building in the district.

The ongoing cold wave across the country may last for two to three days more, while the overall temperature is expected to rise at the end of this month, according to the Chuadanga Met office.
