The High Court has granted bail to Mosammat Shanjida in a case filed over the killing of 26 Bangladeshis in Libya on May 28.

A virtual court in Dhaka today rejected a bail petition of Al Amin alias Parvez, a member of a gang -- linked to the trafficking of 26 Bangladeshis killed in Libya on May 28 -- in a case filed with Khilgaon Police Station.

Three members of a gang linked to the trafficking of 26 Bangladeshis killed in Libya on May 28 today confessed to a magistrate that they had trafficked a number of people including Md Rakib who had been missing since that date.

Bangladesh police have arrested around 52 people in 26 cases filed across the country so far over the killing of 26 Bangladeshis in Libya on May 28, Police Headquarters (PHQ) said in a statement today.
