The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) cancelled the directorship of eleven board directors, including former president Nazmul Hassan Papon, after a meeting at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur on Wednesday.

Papon’s tendency of stirring up controversy with his words made him a colorful figure in the country’s cricket.

Former national team captain and selector Faruque Ahmed became the first-ever cricketer to become the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) president on Wednesday.
