Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) president Nazmul Hassan Papon cautioned that the board may ask for explanations if national team head coach Chandika Hathurusingha has breached any Code of Conduct.

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) president Nazmul Hassan Papon said he wanted to end his current term before it expires prior to being sworn in as the Minister of Youth and Sports at the Bangabhaban on Thursday. 

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) president Nazmul Hassan Papon claimed that the rank turners as well as the low and slow that the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur boasts do not favour the home side.

“If they win the series, they will get a big bonus, no doubt about that,” said the BCB president

Former Bangladesh skipper Tamim Iqbal came forward with a statement about his future, saying that he would wait till after the BPL to come to a conclusion.

“I told him [Tamim] whatever my decision is I will take it after the BPL.” Papon told reporters after his meeting with the opener.
