VAT protesters give flowers to cops, take selfies
Students demonstrating for withdrawal of value added tax (VAT) from private universities’ tuition fees have passed another day on the streets peacefully.
Some of the students of East West University at Aftabnagar in Dhaka’s Rampura area today gave flowers to on duty police officials during their demonstration.

They also took selfies with the law enforcers and shared those on the Facebook page of the university.
The photos went viral all over the social media, with many people sharing those on their Facebook timeline as an example of peaceful and friendly demonstration which is a rare scenario in the country.
পুলিশ এসেছিল অস্ত্র নিয়ে কথা বলতেহাতে ফুল ধরিয়ে দেয়া হয়েছে। এরপর সেলফি ও ! এই অমেধাবী(!) ছাত্ররা আন্দোলনের নামে ভাংচুর করা ছাত্রদের একটা শিক্ষা দিচ্ছে ।
