I get a discount during Eid shopping: Ishana

Former Lux Superstar Ishana is a popular actress. As in previous years, she was very busy with Eid plays. She spoke to The Daily Star about her Eid holidays and life behind the camera. Excerpts:

We had great fun. I enjoyed every moment as I let my hair down. Besides, I hung out with relatives.

How did you spend your Eid holidays?

Ishana: We had great fun. I enjoyed every moment as I let my hair down. Besides, I hung out with relatives.

Where did you spend the holidays?

Ishana: I was in two minds. Firstly, I thought I would go to my hometown Comilla but later changed my mind. However, I was bent on spending Eid out of Dhaka, Which I did.

Did you ever plan Eid holidays abroad?

Ishana: Once I went to Darjeeling with my family and we had great fun.

Where did you shop for the family?

Ishana: I was toying with the idea of Jamuna Future Park or Bashundhara City which is quite convenient. Usually I shop in the country.

As a celebrity do you face any problem shopping at the malls?

Ishana: Not at all. On the contrary, I get a special discount when the sales person recognises me.

How many plays did you do this Eid?

Ishana: Around 10 TV plays. All of them had different stories. The audience got to see me as an urbanite in some plays and a villager in others. I played the role of a film producer in another play with my sister as a co-star.
