Shaon directing “Bhalobashar Golpo” for Eid

Actor-director Meher Afroze Shaon is directing single-episode television play “Bhalobashar Golpo” for Eid. Shooting for the play -- based on a story by Humayun Ahmed -- wrapped up recently in the capital's Uttara. 

The story encircles the a couple, both belonging to very poor families, but their relationship goes on despite the obstacles. But one day, the girl tells her beloved that her family is arranging her marriage with another man. 

“The play will air on a satellite channel this Eid. Since it is based on Humayun Ahmed's story, the play is very relatable. I hope the audience will like it,” said Shaon about the play.

The play casts Sajal, Sabnam Faria, Shadhin Khosru, Joyeeta, Jhuna Chowdhury, Dr Ezaz and others.
