AL man stabbed dead in Kushtia

An activist of ruling Awami League was stabbed to death by miscreants in Ailchara union of Kushtia Sadar last night.

Shahinur Rahman, 40, was an AL activist and also bodyguard of Motaleb Hossain, an AL chairman candidate of Ailchara union parishad election, held on May 7, reports our Kushtia correspondent.

Shahabuddin Chowdhury, officer-in-charge of Kushtia Model Police Station, said they are investigating the murder that took place around 10:30pm yesterday.
