Body recovered from Rajshahi-Naogaon highway

Police recovered the body of an unidentified person on Rajshahi-Naogaon highway in Manda upazila of Naogaon this morning.

Informed by locals, police recovered the body from Sotihat Chairman intersection in the morning, Shahinur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Manda Police Station, told The Daily Star

The deceased might have been killed in a road accident between midnight and 1:00am today, our Rajshahi staff correspondent quoted the OC as saying.

The body has been damaged beyond recognition as it went under the wheels of many vehicles on the highway.
