Trawler capsizes in Bay, 6 bodies found at sea beach

The bodies of six people have been found at Cox’s Bazar sea beach after a trawler capsized in the Bay of Bengal.

Bodies of six fishermen were found at Cox’s Bazar sea beach today as a trawler capsized in the Bay of Bengal.

The bodies were recovered from the sea beach at Seagull Point between 3:00am and 9:00am today, said Md Khairuzzaman, officer-in-charge (investigation) of Cox’s Bazar Sadar Police Station.

Police also rescued two fishermen and send them to Cox's Bazar Sadar Hospital, the OC said.

“We found two, out of the six bodies, inside a floating trawler near the beach, he added.

The bodies were sent to the hospital morgue for autopsy.
