Christopher Nolan is known for pushing cinematic boundaries, and his latest project, an adaptation of Homer's "The Odyssey", is no exception. The acclaimed director has impressed the internet by choosing to shoot across real locations, rather than relying on CGI or green screens. 

Photos from his set have surfaced, showcasing Nolan, along with Tom Holland and other actors dressed as warriors, aboard a large wooden ship at sea near Methoni, Greece.

Nolan's adaptation of "The Odyssey", produced by Universal Pictures, features an all-star ensemble cast including Matt Damon, Zendaya, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong'o, Anne Hathaway, Charlize Theron, and Benny Safdie. 

With a release date set for July 17, 2026, expectations are high, particularly with Nolan's reputation for using practical effects and real-world locations. The director's decision to film on location, instead of taking the CGI-heavy route, has only heightened anticipation for what may be one of the most visually stunning films of the century.
